Employee Assistance Program
August 17, 2009

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) maximizes workplace performance by giving employees free services and proactive resources (e.g., trainings and web-based solutions) that minimize the effect personal problems and workplace challenges (e.g., co-worker conflict, management concerns) have on their total health and productivity.

EAP is available to all external clients. EAP (sometimes known as Member Assistance Programs (MAP) in the Labor and Trust markets) provides prevention, triage, and short-term problem-resolution services within an organization.

Our programs are staffed by professionals who provide short-term problem-resolution services to individual members, employees and families as well as consulting services to managers and supervisors regarding employee performance, and serve as behavioral consultants to corporate leaders when unexpected events occur, such as natural disasters, plant accidents, and other emergencies. Our new BrainHealth Strategies offering is now embedded in the EAP and LifeSolutions behavioral offerings.

The EAP is a service to both the employer (management consultations, onsite trainings, Critical Incident Response Services) and the employees and their dependents.
